Thanks to Rembrandt

Long airport layovers are a travel downer. Amsterdam?s Schiphol Airport makes the wait more pleasant by teaming with the Rijksmuseum to offer travelers some 16th century Dutch eye candy. “Thanks to Rembrandt” is a free public exhibit that features samples of work from Rubens, Johannes Vermeer, Hans Bollongier and even Rembrandt himself. www.frakesproductions.com

“Martha” Theater Organ

This is a video I produced back in 1986 for the now defunct WCFC-TV 38 in Chicago. It is a story about Paul Van Der Molen of Wheaton, Illinois, and his Robert Morton Theatre Pipe Organ affectionately named, Martha.

3 Faiths, 2 Countries, 1 Peace

New years day, 2009 will find me back in the Holy Land. I will be documenting the spiritual journey of seven American Christians as they visit various sites in and around Jerusalem, Bethlehem and Ramallah.

You can visit our team web site: 3 Faiths, 2, Countries, 1 Peace for more information, blog posts, photos and video clips as we travel.  Kathleen Adam, leader of the group asked me to come along. Kathleen is a student at Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. This pilgrimage is part of her seminary program.  The recorded footage will also be used to cut together a Spiritual Journey segment for 30 Good Minutes, on WTTW Channel 11 (PBS) in Chicago.
