“I must be in the front row…”
Posted by timfrakes | Filed under Interesting Places, Sports, Tim Frakes Productions

So, my daughter, Emily gets Connor and I $20 Bulls tickets in the nose bleeds. At half time, a guy with a walkie-talkie taps me on the shoulder and asks if we want to sit courtside? "Sure!" So, off we go to watch Bulls get pounded in seats with a ticket price of $950 each! "I must be in the front row!"

Join myself and religion communicators from around the world here in Chicago, April 7-10, 2010, for a once-a-decade multi-faith forum of all levels of communicators of religion.
This extraordinary event brings together over 1,200 communications professionals to expand our experience and broaden our perspective on embracing change. Social change invites us to new ministries. Religious change invites us to new dialogue. Technological change entices us to new modes of reaching out
As communicators, we have ever advancing tools, but we also see a power shift in publishing: through tools such as blogs, everyone has a voice. How do we harness this power for the good of our organizations?

My New Office!

My new office!
Space, glorious space! For two-plus years I have been parked in a 6′x5′ cubbyhole between the garage door and the toilet stack in the basement of our Lombard home. Facing the prospect of three teenagers at home this summer I decided to lease an outside-the-home office for Tim Frakes Productions.
The basement office is humble yet spacious (19′x19′). It is located in downtown Glen Ellyn, Illinois, one block from the train station at 577 Pennsylvania Ave, Suite 104. Our home is five miles away giving me the opportunity to be green and bicycle or take the bus to and from work.
With the new office comes a added office phone number, (630) 790-9700. Folks can still reach me by cell at: (630) 418-2439.

On the banks of the Illinois River in Marseilles, Illinois, visitors pay their respects at the Middle East Conflicts Memorial Wall. The granite monument commemorates soldiers who died in the recent conflicts. The wall is 50 feet long and 6 feet high. Inscribed are the names of those killed in action. At the base of each wall segment, mourners lay wreathes, toys, photos and even a uniform. www.frakesproductions.com
