Green Bay Packers Home Movie Footage from 1960′s

My dad, John Floyd Frakes shot this footage in the mid-1960s at Milwaukee County Stadium. If you can identify the other team, we would love to know who it is.

Dad thinks he shot this somewhere between 1965 and 1967. Many Packer greats are clearly visible including Jerry Kramer, Paul Hourning, Willie Wood and others.

1958 World Series Braves vs. Yankees

Baseball time is here again! October 8, 1958 the Milwaukee Braves took on the New York Yankees in game six of the World Series. My father (John Floyd Frakes) got his hands on tickets and a press pass. He worked in consumer finance and is not a professional photographer. The footage is from our home 8mm movie camera. It includes Yankees greats Mickey Mantel, White Ford, Yogi Berra, Hank Bauer, Elston Howard, Gil McDougal and Manager Casey Stengel. Milwaukee Braves include Warren Spahn, Hank Aaron, Eddie Mathews, Del Rice, Wes Covington, Del Crandal, Joe Adcock, Manager Fred Haney, Lew Burdette and more.
